At the Hanover Fair 2023 - as in the previous year - hydrogen/fuel cell technologies were among the program priorities. A team from Veritas took the opportunity to present itself as a development partner with system expertise to important customers, especially from the Tier 1 sector, as an exhibitor at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA).

In numerous discussions, Petra Schiesser, Dirk Hattaß, Thomas Roesch, Michael Grohs and Sergio Pascuzzi presented the Veritas portfolio for applications in the area of New Mobility: hydrogen lines (EC 79/2009) for high and medium pressure, air supply lines for fuel cell applications, line systems for cooling Batteries and fuel cells as well as media interface units for battery and fuel cell vehicles.

Sergio Pascuzzi, in a presentation titled "Fuel Line Requirements for Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles", demonstrated the benefits of the solutions that Veritas can provide for medium and high pressure lines in specific designs.

Positioning as a development partner
The bottom line is that the well-attended Hanover Fair with an international audience was an excellent opportunity to position yourself as one of the important players in the field of components for supplying fuel cells (BoP) with a small budget. Interested visitors could get an idea of the many years of system expertise, starting with the processing of various materials such as metal, elastomers and thermoplastics, through the development of power systems and connection technology for all relevant media to the extensive possibilities of functional integration. The best example of this is the fluid management module, which combines various functions with a venturi nozzle, water separator and mixing valve, among other things. “In the area of New Mobility, the topic of hydrogen as an alternative form of energy has arrived at all levels of the value chain. The market in this area is characterized by a large number of cooperations, most of which start as strategic development alliances. We are now in follow-up discussions with interested parties and see good opportunities to expand our network and acquire new business in the medium term,” the trade fair team is confident.
