Hannover Messe 2022: Veritas presents products for New Mobility

Bei der Hannover Messe vom 30. Mai bis 2. Juni 2022 ist Veritas einer von 10 Ausstellern auf dem Gemeinschaftsstand der hessischen Landes Energie Agentur (LEA). An diesem Stand stehen Wasserstoff und Brennstoffzellen im Fokus. Veritas ist mit Produkten für diese Technologie vertreten. Leitungen und weitere Produkte für Brennstoffzellenfahrzeuge sind bei Veritas nicht neu. Erste Entwicklungen liegen bereits rund 20 Jahre zurück. Zum aktuellen Wasserstoff-Portfolio gehören unter anderem Leitungen für den Kühlwasser-, Kathoden- und Anodenkreislauf sowie ein Fluid-Management-Modul mit selbst entwickeltem Ventil. KBA Grants EC 79 Approval for High-Pressure Hydrogen Lines

With the recently granted EC 79 approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the way is clear for the Hessian automotive supplier Veritas AG to manufacture the first prototypes of its hydrogen high-pressure lines for a new customer. The approval of the lines by the KBA opens the door for the company to a business field of the future. At the same time, the KBA's approval is an important signal both internally and externally. Veritas AG has been in insolvency proceeding since mid-2020.

Veritas Investor HDT Meets Employee Representatives and Politicians

Patrick Paige, CEO of the American Veritas investor HDT Automotive Solutions, as well as representatives of the employees' side, the top management of the Main-Kinzig district and the city of Gelnhausen met today, Thursday, for a first acquaintance. Future of Automotive Supplier Veritas is Secured
Insolvency administrator Dr. Plathner wins HDT Automotive Solutions as potential buyer

The globally active US company HDT Automotive Solutions acquires the German automotive and industrial supplier Veritas. The corresponding company purchase agreements have been signed by insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner, partner in the nationwide law company Brinkmann & Partner, and several acquiring companies of HDT Automotive Solutions. The purchase includes all four German sites in Gelnhausen (Hesse), Polenz and Neustadt (Saxony) as well as Benshausen (Thuringia) and all foreign subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America. In Germany, around 1,520 employees will be taken over. According to current plans, around 60 of the current 1,166 jobs in Gelnhausen will be cut. All employees at the six foreign subsidiaries will be transferred. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The Dutch company Elastofirm takes over the German automotive supplier Poppe. The corresponding company purchase agreements have been made by the insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner and Poppe Elastomertechnik GmbH, an Elastofirm BV company, signed.
