As in the previous year, hydrogen/fuel cell technologies were one of the program focuses at the Hannover Messe 2023. A team from Veritas took the opportunity to present itself as an exhibitor at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA) to important customers, especially from the Tier 1 sector, as a development partner with system expertise. Insolvency administrator Dr. Plathner: Purchase agreements signed for Veritas AG Purchase agreements for large parts of the German automotive and industrial supplier Veritas were concluded with companies belonging to the two investor families around Mr. Baran Celik and Mr. Nuvit Gundemir. The relevant company purchase agreements have been signed by insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner, partner in the nationwide law firm Brinkmann & Partner, and the investors from Turkey signed on December 1st. Through Beycelik Holding, the Celik family owns 50 percent of Beycelik-Gestamp Automotive with more than 4,000 employees and an annual turnover of more than 500 million euros. The
At the Hannover Messe from May 30th to June 2nd, 2022, Veritas is one of 10 exhibitors at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA). At this stand, the focus is on hydrogen and fuel cells. Veritas is represented with products for this technology. Cables and other products for fuel cell vehicles are not new to Veritas. The first developments date back around 20 years. The current hydrogen portfolio includes lines for the cooling water, cathode and anode circuits as well as a fluid management module with a valve developed in-house. With the recently granted EC 79 approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the way is clear for the Hessian automotive supplier Veritas AG to manufacture the first prototypes of its hydrogen high-pressure lines for a new customer. The approval of the lines by the KBA opens the door for the company to a business field of the future. At the same time, the KBA's approval is an important signal both internally and externally. Veritas AG has been in insolvency proceeding since mid-2020.
Patrick Paige, CEO of the American Veritas investor HDT Automotive Solutions, as well as representatives of the employees' side, the top management of the Main-Kinzig district and the city of Gelnhausen met today, Thursday, for a first acquaintance. The meeting in the company's own "VeriForum" was also attended by insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner (Brinkmann & Partner) and representatives of the IG BCE trade union.
