As in the previous year, hydrogen/fuel cell technologies were one of the program focuses at the Hannover Messe 2023. Hannover Messe 2022: Veritas presents products for New Mobility

At the Hannover Messe from May 30th to June 2nd, 2022, Veritas is one of 10 exhibitors at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA). At this stand, the focus is on hydrogen and fuel cells. Veritas is represented with products for this technology. Cables and other products for fuel cell vehicles are not new to Veritas. The first developments date back around 20 years. KBA Grants EC 79 Approval for High-Pressure Hydrogen Lines

With the recently granted EC 79 approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the way is clear for the Hessian automotive supplier Veritas AG to manufacture the first prototypes of its hydrogen high-pressure lines for a new customer. Future of Automotive Supplier Veritas is Secured
Insolvency administrator Dr. Plathner wins HDT Automotive Solutions as potential buyer

The globally active US company HDT Automotive Solutions acquires the German automotive and industrial supplier Veritas. The corresponding company purchase agreements have been signed by insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner, partner in the nationwide law company Brinkmann & Partner, and several acquiring companies of HDT Automotive Solutions. The purchase includes all four German sites in Gelnhausen (Hesse), Polenz and Neustadt (Saxony) as well as Benshausen (Thuringia) and all foreign subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America. In Germany, around 1,520 employees will be taken over. According to current plans, around 60 of the current 1,166 jobs in Gelnhausen will be cut. All employees at the six foreign subsidiaries will be transferred. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
