HDT Automotive strengthens global business with completion of acquisition of headquarters and selected business activities of Veritas AG
With the successful acquisition of a large part of Veritas AG, HDT is strengthening its global reach and expanding its production and development network to include five locations in Germany, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary and Mexico.
With its focus on fluid and thermal management systems, Veritas is an ideal addition to HDT's product portfolio.
HDT is diversifying its customer base and product range and strengthening its business relationships with German automobile manufacturers.
Hydrogen lines from Veritas in operation
After four years of development work, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen is on the road as a pilot fleet. High and medium pressure lines “made by Veritas AG”, Gelnhausen, are installed in the vehicle.
Great interest in New Mobility products at the Hannover Messe
As in the previous year, hydrogen/fuel cell technologies were one of the program focuses at the Hannover Messe 2023. A team from Veritas took the opportunity to present itself as an exhibitor at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA) to important customers, especially from the Tier 1 sector, as a development partner with system expertise. In numerous discussions, Petra Schießer, Dirk Hattaß, Thomas Roesch, Michael Grohs and Sergio Pascuzzi presented Veritas' portfolio for applications in the area of New Mobility: hydrogen lines (EC 79/2009) for high and medium pressure, air supply lines for fuel cell applications, line systems for cooling Batteries and fuel cells
Hannover Messe 2022: Veritas presents products for New Mobility
At the Hannover Messe from May 30th to June 2nd, 2022, Veritas is one of 10 exhibitors at the joint stand of the Hessian State Energy Agency (LEA). At this stand, the focus is on hydrogen and fuel cells. Veritas is represented with products for this technology. Cables and other products for fuel cell vehicles are not new to Veritas. The first developments date back around 20 years. The current hydrogen portfolio includes lines for the cooling water, cathode and anode circuits as well as a fluid management module with a valve developed in-house. Hydrogen will be used as an energy carrier in the coming years
KBA Grants EC 79 Approval for High-Pressure Hydrogen Lines
With the recently granted EC 79 approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the way is clear for the Hessian automotive supplier Veritas AG to manufacture the first prototypes of its hydrogen high-pressure lines for a new customer. The approval of the lines by the KBA opens the door for the company to a business field of the future. At the same time, the KBA's approval is an important signal both internally and externally. Veritas AG has been in insolvency proceeding since mid-2020.
