Handling customer orders, personnel administration, supplier administration, commercial agent accounting and prospective buyer support, plant security as well as visitor programs.
 
Definition of involved groups of persons and the pertinent data or data categories:
  • Customers: addresses, contract particulars, payment details and steering data.
  • Staff, job applicants: all data required for proper initiation, maintenance and termination of employment (e.g. addresses, qualifications, time-logging, contract particulars and account settlement data).
  • Supplier administration: addresses, contract particulars, payment details and account settlement data.
  • Prospective buyer support: addresses.
  • Plant security as well as visitor programs: video monitoring in designated access areas, visitor data (e.g. name, duration of visit).

Standard deadlines for deleting data:
  • Immediately – if data has been impermissibly stored contrary to our intentions.
  • After expiration of data appropriation, i.e. if the data is no longer required for fulfilling the designated purposes.
    Prior to scheduled data processing, the data appropriation and particular deletion deadlines are defined in a routine process.
  • Upon expiration of statutory or contractual archiving periods (examples: according to German Commercial Code, 10 years for accounting records; according to Radiation Protection Ordinance, 30 years for jobsite radiation measurements; according to Ordinance of Hazardous Substances, 40 years for records of exposure to carcinogenic substances).
Planned data transmission to third countries:
If such transmission is required, data will be transmitted only to such companies in third countries which warrant for adequate data protection standards (so-called Safe-Harbor companies) or if measures in compliance with §4c BDSG have been taken.
