In Gelnhausen, Germany's first state technical college for rubber and plastics technology is being built on the initiative and with the support of Veritas.

Complete takeover of Ullrich Gummiwerke AG by Veritas.

1982

Production is completely relocated from Berlin to Gelnhausen, the plant in Berlin is closed.

1981

Production needs more space. A second plant is built on Stettiner Strasse in Gelnhausen.

1958

The Giessen company Poppe acquires a majority stake in Veritas Gummiwerke AG and Ullrich Gummiwerke AG, which is also based in Gelnhausen

1947

Gelnhausen becomes the headquarter of "Veritas Gummiwerke AG".

1943

The plant in Berlin is destroyed in an air raid, the company management moves to Gelnhausen.

1929

The company changes its name and is now called "Veritas Gummiwerke AG". The brand name VERITAS, which stood for all kind of technical rubber goods, is now part of the company name.

1886

Through a merger the “United Berlin-Frankfurter Gummiwaaren-Fabriken AG” with a branch in Gelnhausen is established.
