Patrick Paige, CEO of the American Veritas investor HDT Automotive Solutions, as well as representatives of the employees' side, the top management of the Main-Kinzig district and the city of Gelnhausen met today, Thursday, for a first acquaintance. The meeting in the company's own "VeriForum" was also attended by insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner (Brinkmann & Partner) and representatives of the IG BCE trade union.

The CEO of HDT, Patrick Paige, personally introduced the investor. Paige emphasized here:

"We are looking forward to working together with Veritas' German and foreign sites. Veritas will play an important role in expanding our global business, particularly in thermal management systems needed for the growing hybrid and electric vehicle market." Paige also provided an initial overview of the measures intended in the short term to return Veritas to a sustainable course. Insolvency administrator Dr. Jan Markus Plathner, HDT and the works council are pursuing a joint solution in this regard.

Works Council Chairman Glenn Lawrence assured that the employee representatives would continue to work hard on the issue, but at the same time constructively on the future of Veritas. District Administrator Thorsten Stolz and Gelnhausen's Mayor Daniel Glöckner underlined the importance of Veritas as one of the largest employers in the region.
